And I Love Her Paul McCartney (The Beatles) 1964

Great surprise from this small jazz group, with a pretty well constructed setlist with original songs as well as covers from other genres.

A particularly successful blending of jazz and tango was happening when he was playing the accordion, but nonetheless his piano skills were equally exquisite.

Hegel Holidays, probably inspired from Rene Magritte's painting, was a tasty improvisation on Bizet's Carmen, while what I enjoyed most was saved for the encore, with an instrumental cover of the Beatles song.

I have to mention as well the flamboyant style of the drummer, apparently on his first venture with the group, and the brilliant double bass solos which captivated the audience as rarely a bass improvisation does.

Beautiful!
